What if a patient starts the survey but does not complete it?
All responses provided by patients are collected, aggregated and represented in the Dashboard. If a patient does not complete the survey, those questions that are answered are collected and reported through the dashboard.
How is the National Average Benchmark defined?
Our National Average Benchmark is pulled from our database of 46,000 clients/providers across the nation by specialty. We use a rolling 13 month window of that data to calculate the true average.
What question(s) on the survey is used to generate rankings?
There is a single question on the survey that asks about patient satisfaction ("Provider Satisfaction Rating"). This question alone is used to generate the ranking.
What is the Net Promoter Score?
The Net Promoter Score uses a method of calculating patient satisfaction scores in a manner to assist you in gauging loyalty of patient relationships. In other words, it measures how likely the patient will recommend their provider. It is directly tied to the "Would you recommend this provider?" question. Based on this rating, the patient is classified as a detractor, passive, or promoter.
What is the difference between detractor, passive, and promoter?
Detractors are the least likely to recommend a provider. Passives are somewhat satisfied with their provider but are not very likely to recommend them. Promoters are very loyal patients and are very likely to recommend their provider to others.
How can I see what answers patients provided on individual questions?
To protect patients' anonymity, we do not disclose the individual ratings or comments that patients provide. Only if they indicated that we can attribute their responses to them, will their results be shared.
